Such a great post. Thanks Morag. This year I also grew tromboncino seeds from Diggers. What and amazing and prolific plant! Turns out it's a crook neck pumpkin (aka Summer squash) but picked and eaten when it's immature and it's a delicious, seed free zucchini. I grew it over a pergola which encouraged it to grow straight. Perfect for zucchini noodles! I now have a freezer full of them having discovered that they store really well this way.

Hi Morag, great post as usual. I too have a love affair with pumpkins, they are so versatile! I love to roast the seeds with salt and five spice, super delicious. And I could eat pumpkin soup all day long, I give it an extra boost of flavour by lightly roasting the pumpkin first. Have a great day.
