					<description><![CDATA[Thanks so much for this post. I am in a new area, living in what will be my last home, with a few undeveloped acres and free license to do whatever I like with the gardens. A deciduous windbreak is one of the items I need to plan and progress with so the more ideas I have the better.]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[Yes that is the same one we have.  We bought it from Green Harvest. Hubby&#039;s birds love it but the chooks don&#039;t seem to eat it. I read it was good for the compost. I need to cook it and see what it tastes like as apparently it can be used instead of potatoes.]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[I use it at the edge of a perennial vegetable garden system - usually on the western side to provide afternoon shade. I use it&#039;s growth to add biomass to my compost, to feed the chickens. I use it as chop and drop mulch. I add it to the under layers of a no-dig garden. I eat it.... It doesn&#039;t get much of a chance to get away in my garden. I always use Canna edulis though - this is the only edible one (QLD Arrowroot). It has a more clumping growth patterns than the other cannas.]]></description>
