Here is a quick look at Lupton Park Community Garden in Maryborough, QLD (www.luptonpark.org.au). In March 2017, I visited and led four workshops there – free for the members of the Lupton Park Community Garden in Maryborough, QLD Australia, sponsored by the local Council.

I love visiting community gardens, meeting with keen members (garden activists), sharing knowledge, and checking out great garden ideas. These are fabulous centres of community action for positive change.

Community gardens are just amazing. They are so much more than about growing food (as wonderful as that is!). They are places to grow community and connection to place, and to cultivate a local culture of eco urban living.
